After three group-stage games at the U20 European Championship with the Slovak Republic national team, two of our players have delivered outstanding performances.
Barbora Bálintová (19) is averaging 16.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game. After a slightly slow start against Serbia, Barbora responded with two excellent performances against Sweden and Ukraine. She currently ranks among the tournament’s top five players in assists, points, fouls drawn, minutes played, and free throws made.
Terezia Páleníková (18) is averaging 12.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.0 assist per game, which is especially impressive considering she is competing against older players. She is also shooting nearly 67% from two-point range, which ranks her third in the tournament.
