Ivana Matović, one of the best centers of the last decade, has decided to retire from professional basketball after 12 EuroLeague Women seasons.

Ivana began her professional career with Vojvodina in Serbia before moving to USK Blex Prague during the 2003/04 season. She then spent the next three seasons in Hungary, playing for MKB Euroleasing Sopron. In the 2007/08 season, she won the EuroLeague Women title with Spartak Moscow. After two seasons with Lotos Gdynia, she moved to Fenerbahçe, where she played for four seasons.

Throughout her career, Ivana Matović won league titles and cup trophies in Hungary, Poland, Russia, and Turkey.

During her EuroLeague Women career, she played 156 games and averaged 28 minutes per game. She averaged 11.4 points and 5 rebounds per game while shooting 54% from two-point range.
